The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Crane Truck Driver to join our client's growing team on a full-time basis.
This role involves delivering building materials to construction sites and safely operating a Vehicle Loading Crane to unload materials onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Safely load, strap and secure trusses, frames and building materials
Drive the loaded truck to customer and construction sites
Operate the Vehicle Loading Crane to unload materials
Safely position and place materials onsite
Communicate with customers and site personnel during deliveries
Complete vehicle and equipment checks
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Ensure loads are transported and unloaded safely and efficiently

What you need to be employed
Current HC licence required
Previous experience operating a Vehicle Loading Crane
Crane or HIAB experience highly regarded
Experience transporting building materials is advantageous
Strong understanding of load restraint and transport safety
Reliable, punctual and professional
Good communication skills
Able to work independently and manage deliveries efficiently
Strong commitment to workplace safety
