Expression of Interest Engineering Opportunities – Cairns Region, Queensland

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and motivated engineering professionals to support the delivery of a project in the Cairns region on a 2 week on, 1 week off roster.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
Depending on the role, responsibilities may include:
n
n
Supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of project works
n
Assisting with project scheduling, resource planning, and cost control
n
Coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and site teams
n
Preparing work packs, technical documentation, and project reports
n
Monitoring project progress and identifying opportunities for improvement
n
Ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications, drawings, and project requirements
n
Managing quality assurance and quality control processes
n
Supporting procurement and contract administration activities
n
Maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
n
Collaborating with construction, commercial, and client stakeholders
n
About You
n
To be successful, you will possess:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline
n
Previous experience within civil construction, bulk earthworks, infrastructure or mining
n




Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Strong organisational and planning capabilities
n
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software
n
Highly Regarded n
n
Demonstrated experience in project delivery environments
n
Knowledge of contract administration and commercial principles
n
Chartered Engineer status or progress toward professional accreditation
n
Experience with project management systems and scheduling software
n
