Job Description
This dynamic, expansive and growing business is currently seeking a proactive, professional and dedicated Quality Assurance and WHS Officer.

To be successful in this role you will be required to:
n
Conduct routine and non-routine product quality tests to ensure ongoing compliance to SQF, HACCP and WHS;
n
Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures;
n
Conducting label reviews for product and raw materials, packaging and promotional materials
n
Support with internal and external food safety audits for the site
n
Assist with investigations of customer complaints and non-conformance issues
n
Implement and monitor corrective and preventative action
n
Coordinate training activities to drive quality, food safety, work health and safety, environmental and quality assurance standards
n
Preparation of routine and non-routine reports to communicate outcomes of quality system
n
Collect and sample statistical quality data and identify areas for improvement in the quality system
n
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
n
Knowledge of HACCP and SQF standards essential
n
Technical understanding of Quality and Food Safety
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
Experience working within the quick moving consumer goods industry preferred
n
Candidate can be in progress studying a
Food/Science/Microbiology/Chemistry/Nutrition
or Laboratory qualifications or equivalent
