HBG are representing a leading Sydney-based builder and developer with a diverse residential portfolio spanning volume home building, high-end luxury residences, and Class 1 & Class 2 projects including units and mixed-use developments. With a strong reputation for quality delivery across varied project types, they are expanding their team and looking for an experienced Site Foreman to manage day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring successful project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Oversee and manage construction activities across structural, finishing, and trade coordination stages
n
Supervise, lead, and coordinate site operatives, subcontractors, and on-site personnel
n
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
n
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide progress updates and resolve issues
n




Review and interpret drawings and specifications to ensure work meets required standards and deadlines
n
Plan, organize, and prioritize daily site tasks for efficient workflow
n
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety
n
Troubleshoot and resolve technical or construction issues as they arise
n
Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and well-maintained
n
Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs and safety reports
n
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, quality control, and safety
n
n
Ideal Candidate:
n
n
5+ years' experience in a foreman or site supervisory role within residential construction — volume, custom/luxury, or Class 1 & 2 backgrounds are suitable
n
Trade background preferred (carpentry, building, or related trade)
n
Solid understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety regulations across varied residential project types
n
Experience managing teams and coordinating subcontractors effectively
n
Confident reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications
n
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate diverse teams
n
Proactive problem solver, comfortable making on-site decisions
n
Well organized, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
n
Safety-focused with a keen eye for risk identification and mitigation
n
n
