Key Account Manager - Rare Diseases Launch
The Opportunity
Join a leading global pharmaceutical company as it expands its specialist hospital team ahead of an exciting
new product launch

This newly created role will manage a specialty/rare disease portfolio across Melbourne's North West, with a strong focus on
Key Account Management, strategic customer engagement and launch execution
.
You'll work with specialist clinicians and key hospital stakeholders across major public and private accounts, supported by an experienced cross-functional team and an organisation with a strong pipeline and commitment to innovation.
The Role
Develop and execute strategic account plans across priority hospital accounts
Build trusted relationships with specialists and key multidisciplinary stakeholders
Drive account engagement and readiness for a significant new product launch
Map stakeholders, patient pathways, opportunities and barriers within complex accounts
Deliver high-quality scientific and clinical discussions with specialist customers
Work collaboratively with Medical, Marketing, Market Access and other internal teams
Drive growth across an established specialty portfolio
Manage key accounts across VIC North West and Tasmania, including interstate travel
About You
Hospital pharmaceutical sales or Key Account Management experience
Proven success working with specialist customers and complex hospital accounts
Robust strategic account planning and territory management capability
Excellent influencing, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Commercially astute with strong clinical and scientific aptitude
Confident navigating multiple stakeholders and complex decision-making environments
Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working cross-functional
Specialty, rare disease or complex hospital experience highly regarded
