About the Role
As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the galvanising plant and ensuring production activities are completed safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Working overtime and weekends when required
Operating a forklift as required
Assisting across various areas of the production facility
Loading and unloading steel products onto overhead hoists or conveyors
Preparing and wiring steel products prior to the galvanising process
Finishing coated steel products using hand tools, grinders, or polishers
Conducting quality checks and packaging finished products
Maintaining a clean, organised, safe, and efficient work environment
Following all workplace health and safety procedures and operational requirements
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Previous experience in a galvanising, metal coating, manufacturing, or factory production environment
A current forklift licence




The ability to safely lift steel products weighing up to 20kg
A strong understanding of safe work practices within a manufacturing environment
A reliable and punctual approach to work, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
A current driver's licence and reliable transport
The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
