Casual Warehouse Team Members – Night Shift
Christmas Peak | $***** per hour | 10:00pm – 6:00am
Tusk Group is seeking
reliable and physically fit warehouse workers
to join the Kmart Distribution Centre in Truganina for the upcoming Christmas peak.
Commencement: Sunday 4 October
This is Christmas peak work with consistent shifts expected from
October through December
, with work most likely continuing until
January
.
KEY – TRAINING
Successful applicants will initially complete training on
AM and PM shifts
before moving onto the night shift.
You
must be available to complete training on these shifts
.
The Work
Sort stock and stack products onto store pallets
Build safe, stable and secure pallets
Previous pallet stacking experience is essential
Must be able to perform repetitive heavy lifting throughout the shift
2. Large Bulk Picking
Pick large and bulky stock using an
RF scanner
Repetitive heavy lifting and warehouse walking
Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 25kg throughout the shift
3. Bulk Apparel Picking




Pick apparel stock using an
RF scanner
Repetitive walking and manual handling
Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 15kg throughout the shift
What We're Looking For
Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience
RF scanning experience
Physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting
Able to lift
up to 25kg repeatedly
Comfortable being on your feet and walking throughout the shift
Reliable, punctual and committed to
5 nights per week
Safety conscious and able to follow instructionsOwn reliable transport is
essential
, particularly due to the night shift hours
This Role Will Suit You If...
You are experienced in a fast-paced warehouse environment, comfortable with
physical and repetitive work
, and want consistent night shift hours over the Christmas peak period.
