This is a full-time, office-based role based in Acacia Ridge, QLD, supporting customers and the sales team across Queensland. Reporting to the QLD State Manager, you'll prepare customer quotations, process orders and enquiries, and work closely with external sales, production and warehouse teams to keep customers moving quickly and accurately.
Key responsibilities
Prepare accurate, timely quotations in response to customer enquiries
Review customer requirements and assist with estimating product and project needs
Process customer orders, invoicing and general enquiries
Liaise with external sales reps on pricing, market rates and customer requirements
Work closely with production and warehouse teams on availability, lead times and deliveries
Maintain customer pricing, allowances and quotation records accurately
Respond professionally to phone and email enquiries, resolving concerns in a timely way
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Burndy's product range
About you
Experience in customer service, internal sales, estimating or quotation preparation
Comfort working in a rapid-paced environment where priorities can shift daily
The ability to quickly learn new systems and processes without needing repeated instruction
High accuracy and genuine attention to detail
Strong communication skills across customers, suppliers and internal teams
Ability to read and interpret drawings
A collaborative, can-do attitude and willingness to support the wider team
Experience within the electrical, cable support, steel, manufacturing, construction or industrial supply sectors would be highly regarded
