Happy Smiles for Kids is a specialist paediatric dental clinic looking for talented and passionate people to join our evolving team in the sunny bayside suburb of Cheltenham.
We specialise in making those early dental years for children as positive and rewarding as possible, while also helping their families feel at ease. You will also be able to work alongside our famous Certified therapy dog Mr Miso (sometimes he is more for us than the patients).
What we are looking for:
- A super star available to work 7.30am to 5.30pm on
Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays
– Approximately 28 hours per week
And someone who is either:
- An Experienced Dental Assistantlooking for a new rewarding career path,
OR
-A Trainee Dental Assistant who is looking for an exciting current direction
Are you someone who?
Is highly organised and motivated with a can-do attitude
Takes pride in their work
Communicates effectively and works well within a team
Has an enthusiasm for helping and caring for patients
Enjoys working with children




Wants variety – as we offer a range of services to patients; from working at the clinic to assisting for procedures under general anaesthesia in hospitals
Enjoys working Monday to Friday and not weekends
Would like to gain nationally recognised qualifications within an ever growing industry
Applicants must have unrestricted Australian working rights. This position is not suitable for visa sponsorship, and applicants requiring employer sponsorship will not be considered.
Further requirements for the role include:
Legally able to work in Australia
Working with children check (WWC) is ideal but can be applied for at the time of successful employment
Current drivers license and reliable transport (due to working at multiple hospitals)
Up to date Covid-19 & Flu vaccinations (this is a requirement of working within the day hospitals we utilise)
