This role combines digital assessment with on-site inspections, working through warranty requests to diagnose issues, determine the appropriate course of action, and coordinate rectification where required. You'll work closely with homeowners, trades, suppliers, and internal construction teams to ensure matters are assessed accurately and progressed efficiently.
Position Scope
Review and assess warranty requests through internal systems and portals, determining appropriate next steps
Complete desktop assessments using available documentation, photos, job history, and supporting information
Conduct on-site inspections where required to diagnose issues and determine rectification requirements
Scope works clearly, including costings where required, and obtain relevant approvals before works proceed
Schedule and coordinate trades and suppliers to complete approved rectification works
Keep homeowners updated through clear and professional communication
Maintain accurate records, photos, assessment findings, and job notes within internal systems

You'll work closely with homeowners, trades, suppliers, and internal construction teams to ensure matters are assessed accurately and progressed efficiently.
About You
Experience in residential warranty, maintenance, defects, building inspections, insurance assessing, or a related field
Strong understanding of residential construction methods, building standards, and finish quality
Comfortable assessing issues from documentation and digital systems before determining whether further investigation is required
Sound judgement with the ability to diagnose issues and recommend practical next steps
Calm and professional when dealing with homeowners, including sensitive or complex matters
Highly organised and capable of managing multiple active matters and priorities
Comfortable working predominantly from Head Office while attending sites when required
