The Role
As an Automotive Electrician, you'll play a key role in keeping heavy mining equipment operating safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on heavy mobile plant equipment
Carrying out breakdown repairs,



installations and preventative maintenance
Performing inspections and troubleshooting across a variety of OEM machines
Delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a solid safety focus
Working collaboratively with site teams to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
(essential)
Certificate of Proficiency
or willingness to obtain
Air Conditioning (AC) Ticket
highly regarded
Strong diagnostic and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience working on OEM mining or heavy mobile equipment
Minimum
3+ years' post-trade experience
(mining experience advantageous)
A proactive, reliable and safety-focused approach to work
