We're seeking an experienced, passionate and inspiring Lecturer to join our growing academic team and play a key role in the development and delivery of our Bachelor of Community Services.
Working closely with the Senior Faculty Manager, you will help shape the curriculum, create exceptional learning experiences and contribute to building a culture of academic excellence from the very beginning.

About the role
As a Lecturer, you will contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of the Bachelor of Community Services through high-quality teaching, curriculum development, scholarly engagement and student support.
You will inspire students through engaging teaching practices while contributing to academic excellence, innovation and continuous improvement across the program.
You will also collaborate with industry partners to ensure our graduates are equipped with the knowledge, practical skills and professional capabilities needed to thrive in today's rapidly evolving community services sector.
Key responsibilities
Deliver engaging, student-centred teaching across the Bachelor of Community Services program.
Design, review and continuously improve curriculum and assessment to ensure academic quality and industry relevance.
Provide academic guidance, mentoring and constructive feedback to support student success.
Participate in scholarly activities that enhance teaching practice and contribute to the discipline.




Build strong relationships with industry partners to strengthen graduate employability and maintain industry currency.
Contribute to academic governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with colleagues to foster an innovative, inclusive and high-performing academic environment.
About you
We're looking for an educator who combines academic excellence with practical industry experience and a genuine passion for developing future community services professionals.
You will have:
A Master's qualification (or higher) in Social Work or a related discipline.
At least two years' professional experience within the community services sector.
Experience teaching in higher education.
Demonstrated experience in curriculum design and development.
Sound knowledge of higher education regulatory requirements, including TEQSA and the Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF).
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
