As a Medical Receptionist at HandsOn Therapy, you will be an important part of our front-of-house team and the first point of contact for our patients. You will be responsible for creating a positive, welcoming and qualified experience for every patient who interacts with our reception team. You will play an important role in ensuring patients feel comfortable, valued and well supported from the moment they arrive. This is a quick-paced, people-focused role suited to someone who enjoys interacting with patients, can confidently manage competing priorities and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
Creating a positive, welcoming and professional experience for every patient
Welcoming patients and providing a friendly and approachable first point of contact
Answering incoming phone calls and assisting patients with enquiries
Booking, confirming and managing patient appointments
Checking patients in and out of their appointments
Communicating with patients, therapists and other healthcare professionals
Maintaining a professional and welcoming reception environmentResponding to emails and patient enquiries in a timely manner




Assisting patients with general queries and providing appropriate information

Is confident answering phones and communicating with patients

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
