Arborglen is Flower Power's wholesale production nursery, located on 55 acres in Glenorie. We grow and supply an extensive range of quality plants exclusively to Flower Power Garden Centres across Sydney.

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Plant / Order Picker to join our team on a full-time basis.
n
About the Role
n
This is a fast-paced, physically active role suited to an individual who enjoys working outdoors, staying active and achieving results.
n
As a Plant / Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, picking and preparing quality plants to fulfil orders for our Flower Power Garden Centres.
n
Productivity and accuracy are key to this position. You will work as part of a high-performing team with transparent daily picking targets and deadlines. We are looking for a person who is motivated by achieving results and maintaining a consistent work pace throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
n
Pick and prepare plant orders accurately and efficiently
n
Work to daily productivity and picking targets
n
Maintain a consistent, high-paced work rate throughout the shift
n
Select plants according to required quality standards
n
Ensure orders are completed accurately and within scheduled deadlines
n
Minimise picking errors, plant damage and rework
n
Work closely with team leaders and other pickers to achieve daily dispatch requirements
n
Follow established picking procedures and safe work practices
n
Maintain clean and organised work areas
n
Take ownership of individual performance and contribute to overall team productivity
n
What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an individual who is reliable,



productive and motivated to perform in a high-volume nursery environment.
n
The successful applicant will:
n
Be available Monday to Friday 38 hours per week, 7.30am – 3.36pm. In peak season, the start &/or finish time may vary slightly. Occasional weekend work when required.
n
Be comfortable working in a high-paced and target-driven environment
n
Be motivated to meet and exceed daily productivity expectations
n
Be reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance
n
Be physically fit and capable of extensive manual handling and walking throughout the day
n
Be able to maintain productivity while still paying attention to plant quality and order accuracy
n
Work effectively as part of a team
n
Be able to follow instructions and respond quickly to changing priorities
n
Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
n
Have good communication skills
n
Be legally entitled to work in Australia
n
Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport to Glenorie
n
Have plant or nursery knowledge – advantageous but not essential
n
Experience
n
Previous nursery or order-picking experience is not essential.
n
Full training will be provided. More importantly, we are looking for someone who has the right attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn and perform.
n
Experience in warehousing, order picking, production, agriculture, landscaping, construction or other fast-paced physical environments will be highly regarded.
n
