Casual Warehouse Team Members – Night Shift

Christmas Peak | $***** per hour | 10:00pm – 6:00am

Tusk Group is seeking reliable and physically fit warehouse workers to join the Kmart Distribution Centre in Truganina for the upcoming Christmas peak.
n
Commencement: Sunday 4 October
n
This is Christmas peak work with consistent shifts expected from October through December, with work most likely continuing until January.
n
IMPORTANT – TRAINING
n
Successful applicants will initially complete training on AM and PM shifts before moving onto the night shift.
n
You must be available to complete training on these shifts.
n
The Work
n
n
Sort stock and stack products onto store pallets
n
Build safe, reliable and secure pallets
n
Previous pallet stacking experience is essential
n
Must be able to perform repetitive heavy lifting throughout the shift
n
2. Large Bulk Picking
n
Pick large and bulky stock using an RF scanner
n
Repetitive heavy lifting and warehouse walking
n
Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 25kg throughout the shift
n
3. Bulk Apparel Picking




n
Pick apparel stock using an RF scanner
n
Repetitive walking and manual handling
n
Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 15kg throughout the shift
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience
n
RF scanning experience
n
Physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting
n
Able to lift up to 25kg repeatedly
n
Comfortable being on your feet and walking throughout the shift
n
Reliable, punctual and committed to 5 nights per week
n
Safety conscious and able to follow instructionsOwn reliable transport is essential, particularly due to the night shift hours
n

This Role Will Suit You If...

You are experienced in a fast-paced warehouse environment, comfortable with physical and repetitive work, and want consistent night shift hours over the Christmas peak period.
n
