Join our dedicated nursing team at the Geelong Withdrawal Unit and use your clinical expertise in a rewarding environment where no two days are the same.
Working alongside Registered Nurses, GPs, AOD professionals, and support staff, you'll provide high-quality withdrawal management care while supporting clients through one of the most significant stages of their recovery journey.
From conducting assessments and monitoring withdrawal symptoms to administering medications and providing compassionate support, you'll have the opportunity to develop specialist skills in AOD nursing within a collaborative and purpose-driven team.
Reporting to the Nurse Team Leader, this is a casual opportunity based in office at our Geelong Withdrawal Unit in Corio, VIC .
Conditions Compensation is in accordance with the Nurses Award ****.




What you'll be doing Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care including admissions, discharges, clinical observations, withdrawal assessments and medication administration Support clients throughout the detoxification process with empathy, professionalism and dignity Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, GPs, AOD practitioners and support staff Identify and manage risks while promoting a safe environment for clients, colleagues and visitors Contribute to smooth day-to-day unit operations through handovers, team meetings and unit support activities What you'll bring We're looking for a compassionate and adaptable nurse who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about improving health outcomes for vulnerable people.
