We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Advisor to join a collaborative People & Culture team. This role is responsible for delivering accurate end-to-end payroll services, employee benefits administration, and payroll compliance while providing exceptional support to employees and stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a quick-paced environment and has strong payroll processing, reconciliation, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce
Complex payroll calculations, adjustments, and reconciliations
Processing employee commencements, variations, and terminations
Managing superannuation, tax, workers compensation, and leave payments
Assisting with payroll reporting, audits, and compliance requirements
Providing payroll advice and support to employees and managers
Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data integrity
Supporting payroll improvement initiatives and system enhancements
About You
Proven end-to-end payroll experience




Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, superannuation, and taxation requirements
Experience processing employee lifecycle transactions from onboarding through to termination
High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines
Desirable
Experience with Aurion or similar payroll/HRIS platforms
Experience working within a large, complex organisation
