Diesel Pro Pty Ltd is currently seeking to employ qualified and experienced Automotive Electricians to commence at their sites in HEXHAM NSW. Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:
n
n
Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out electrical repairs
n
Test and repair basic electrical circuits
n
Repair wiring harnesses and looms
n
Test, charge and replace batteries and jump start vehicles
n
Install, Diagnose and repair spark ignition engine management systems
n
Install, Diagnose and repair vehicle dynamic control systems
n
Remove and replace electrical units and assemblies
n
Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems
n
Install vehicle lighting and wiring systems
n
Install ancillary electronic systems and components
n




Checking and testing wiring and parts in vehicles using portable instruments
n
Using readings to find faults
n
Researching faults, using manufacturers' circuit diagrams and manuals
n
Repairing or replacing faulty parts
n
Retesting the system to make sure everything is working correctly and safely
n
Road tests of vehicles to test proper functionality of on board electronics
n
n
Skills and Abilities
n
n
At least 3 years' experience as an automotive electrician
n
Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
n
Ability to work in a team workplace
n
n
Salary range is $75,000-$90,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open on 9th September **** and closes on 9th October ****
