Key Responsibilities
Preparefinancialstatementsandincometaxreturnsforcompanies,trusts,partnerships,soletradersandindividuals
PrepareandlodgeBAS,IASandothertaxationcomplianceobligations
Preparetaxreconciliations,workingpapersandyear-endfinancialreports
Completebookkeeping,generalledgerreconciliationsandjournalentries
Assistwithpayrollprocessing,PAYGwithholdingandsuperannuationobligations
Communicatewithclientsandrelevantgovernmentauthoritiesregardingaccountingandtaxationmatters
Identifyaccountingdiscrepancies,missinginformationandcomplianceissues
Managemultipleclientengagementswhilemeetingstatutorydeadlines
Assistwithtaxplanning,businessadvisoryservicesandspecialprojects




Provideguidanceandsupporttojunioraccountingstaffwhenrequired
MaintainaccuratefinancialrecordsandensurecompliancewithAustralianaccountingstandards

Requirements & Eligibility
Bachelor'sdegreeinAccounting,Commerce(Accountingmajor)orequivalentqualification
Minimumtwoyearsofpublicpracticeaccountingexperiencepreferred
Experiencepreparingfinancialstatements,incometaxreturns,BASandIAS
GoodunderstandingofAustraliantaxation,GSTandaccountingregulations
ExperienceusingXero,MYOB,QuickBooks,HandiSoft,XeroTaxorsimilaraccountingsoftware
StrongMicrosoftExcelskills
Excellentattentiontodetailandorganisationalskills
Abilitytomanagecompetingprioritiesandmeetdeadlines
