About the role
n
You'll be the first point of contact for our patients and play an important role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly each day.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Greeting patients with warmth and professionalism
n
Managing appointments and clinician diaries
n




Answering phone and email enquiries
n
Processing patient payments and private billing
n
Medicare claiming and EFTPOS transactions
n
Maintaining accurate patient records
n
Managing recalls and reminders
n
Supporting doctors, nurses and the Practice Manager
n
Scanning, filing and general administration
n
About you
n
You have a fun, positive and get stuff done attitude!

Previous experience in a medical reception role (General Practice preferred)
n
Experience using Best Practice or similar medical software (desirable)
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A professional, friendly and compassionate manner
n
Strong organisational and time management skills
n
High attention to detail

Confidence managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
n
A positive attitude and willingness to support your team
