The Opportunity
You will provide high-quality general surgical services across:
Elective and emergency surgery




Inpatient and outpatient care
Clinical assessment and ongoing patient management
Multidisciplinary clinical activities
Clinical governance and quality improvement
Development of regional surgical services
The appointment can be structured as a
Staff Specialist or VMO position
, with flexible hours available up to full-time. Classification and remuneration will be commensurate with experience.

About You
To be considered, you will:
Hold FRACS in General Surgery or an equivalent specialist qualification
Be eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
Demonstrate broad competence and experience in General Surgery
Be committed to safe, high-quality and patient-centred care
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrate an interest in clinical governance and service development
