, our team is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care to every furry friend that walks through its doors. We are now looking for 4 x Casual Animal Attendants to join our Boarding team and help us provide a premium service to the local pets, particularly as we head into our peak periods.
These are casual, seasonal roles, with a roster across Monday - Sunday. Hours will generally range from ***** hours per week, though this may be higher or lower depending on the time of year and the number of dogs in care.
Availability across the Christmas and New Year period is essential, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Duties and responsibilities
Provision of food and water for pets in care
Health checks and general animal husbandry
Supervising groups of dogs and managing their behaviours to maintain overall wellbeing and safety
Providing enrichment through play and scheduled activities
Frequent cleaning and upkeep of facility to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety
Building and maintaining rapport with our pet owners through feedback and transparency
Creating and distributing media content for our pet owners through videos and photos




Daily administration such as answering enquiries through email and phone, record keeping and entering information in our booking systems
Key requirements
A current valid driver's licence is required — there is no public transport access to this site
Available to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift (operated within The Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines)
Available across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, including school holiday periods and the Christmas/New Year period
Must be driven and have a strong work ethic as the role can be physically demanding
Must be attentive and have great attention to detail
Works well in a team workplace
Must be able to follow routines, policies and procedures
Previous experience working with animals is preferred
