The Role
n
The Technology Risk & Compliance Trainee supports the Bank's risk management and compliance activities while undertaking a structured traineeship program.
n
The role provides practical experience in reporting, administration, information management, data analysis, stakeholder engagement and governance processes. Through workplace learning, formal training and on-thejob coaching, the trainee develops foundational skills and knowledge in risk and compliance.

Key Accountabilities

Risk and Compliance Support
n
n
Assist with the collection, collation and maintenance of risk and compliance information.
n
Support the preparation of reports, presentations and briefing materials.
n
Learn how risk and compliance frameworks support the Bank's operations.
n
Assist with monitoring and tracking actions, incidents and compliance activities.
n
n
Information Management and Administration
n
n
Assist with maintaining records, registers and documentation.
n
Support information management processes and systems.
n
Assist with document filing, records maintenance and reporting activities.
n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in accordance with procedures.
n
n
Data Analysis and Reporting
n
n




Assist with the preparation of routine reports and data summaries.
n
Support the collection, validation and organisation of data from various sources.
n
Learn how information is used to support risk and compliance decision-making.
n
Assist with identifying trends and compiling information for reporting purposes.
n
n
Stakeholder Support
n
n
Respond to enquiries and provide administrative support to internal stakeholders.
n
Assist with the coordination of meetings, workshops and training activities.
n
Build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.
n
Support awareness and education activities relating to risk and compliance.
n
n
Learning and Development
n
n
Complete all requirements of the traineeship qualification.
n
Participate in coaching, training and workplace learning activities.
n
Develop knowledge of governance, risk and compliance principles.
n
Apply learning from formal training in the workplace.
n
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and career development.

Selection Criteria
n
n
Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander - Confirmation of Aboriginality or a stat dec is required.
n
Genuine interest in technology
n
Pass a police check
n
Basic computer skills
n
Completed year 12 or equivalent
n
n
