We're looking for experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team in Brisbane to Support our award winning team in the workshop. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role based out of our branch in Archerfield.

What you'll be doing
n
As a Diesel Fitter at Hastings Deering, you will:
n
n
Deliver quality service - carry out maintenance and repairs to the highest standard, ensuring our customers' equipment performs at its best.
n
Follow the right procedures - research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specifications.
n
Do it once, do it right - take every step to ensure workmanship is fault-free ensuring quality in the finished product and any rework is avoided.
n
Work to schedule - complete assigned tasks within required timeframes while maintaining safety and quality.
n
Safety first, ALWAYS! Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives

What you'll need

A successful teammate will have experience in:

Experience that counts - previous experience working in the industry, a workshop environment or in a similar Trade Assistant role.

Strong communicator - excellent communication skills with a genuine customer focus.
