The Opportunity
n
Icon is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract supporting the successful close out of a major $200M residential development.
n
Working alongside the Project Manager and senior project leadership team, you will play a key role in managing the project's final commercial outcomes, including subcontractor account resolution, variations, claims management, forecasting, and financial close out activities.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the commercial and contractual close out of subcontractor packages
n




Finalise subcontractor accounts, variations and claims
n
Review and negotiate outstanding commercial matters
n
Prepare and assess progress claims, payment recommendations and final accounts
n
Support project forecasting, cost reporting and financial reconciliation activities
n
Assist with risk management and contractual compliance
n
Work closely with the Project Manager to drive favourable commercial outcomes
n
Manage stakeholder relationships across subcontractors, consultants and client representatives
n
Ensure all contractual obligations and project documentation are completed prior to handover
n

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
8+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator within the commercial construction industry
n
Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use developments valued at $100M+
n
Strong commercial acumen and proven capability managing project close out activities
n
Advanced knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and cost management
n
Experience negotiating subcontractor final accounts and commercial settlements
n
Ability to work autonomously within a rapid-paced project environment
n
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
n
