About the Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role. Reporting in to the Senior Manager Supporter Engagement, you'll grow Lort Smith's community fundraising through events, peer-to-peer campaigns, workplace giving and local partnerships. You will be actively seeking new opportunities and inspiring individuals, business and community organisations who are passionate about the health and wellbeing of pets and compassionate about extending that care to the people who love them - to supporting our work for the long term.
About You
You're an outgoing, confident and practical fundraiser who enjoys meeting people, building strong and productive relationships and turning opportunities into donations. You thrive in a busy, hands-on role and can confidently manage several projects, relationships and deadlines at once.
You will bring
At least two years consistent and five years' minimum experience in fundraising, events, partnerships, business development or a closely related field, with evidence of meeting revenue targets.
A strong track record in community fundraising, peer-to-peer campaigns, events, workplace giving or partnership programs.
Excellent relationship-building and stewardship skills, with the ability to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Strong event and project management skills, including working to budgets and timelines, managing suppliers, risks and evaluation.
Clear and engaging written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence using CRM systems,



peer-to-peer fundraising platforms, email tools and standard office software.
Robust organisation, attention to detail and the ability to keep things moving in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
Grow Lort Smith's community fundraising income and supporter base.
Lead peer-to-peer fundraising, community campaigns and participation in events such as the Melbourne Marathon.
Build strong relationships with community fundraisers, workplaces, local groups and small businesses.
Support the planning and delivery of fundraising and community events.
Create engaging supporter experiences that encourage people to stay involved and fundraise again.
Track results, manage budgets and use insights to improve performance.
