, we're looking for a strong Intermediate through to early Senior Accountant with around
3–6 years' Australian public practice experience
.
You'll work closely with experienced managers and directors, develop your technical and client-facing skills, and gain increasing exposure to advisory work as you progress.
We're not interested in doing things simply because "that's how accounting firms have always done it".

What you'll be working on
Your role will include a broad mix of business services and tax work, including:
Preparation of financial statements and tax returns
Companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
BAS and IAS preparation
Division 7A
Capital gains tax
FBT
Tax planning
Working with business groups and family structures
Liaising with managers and clients
Supporting and reviewing more junior team members as your experience develops




Increasing involvement in advisory and strategic work over time
Our clients are predominantly privately owned businesses and individuals, so you'll get exposure to a broad range of industries, structures and commercial issues.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will have:
3–6 years' experience in Australian public practice
Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals
A relevant accounting or commerce degree
CA or CPA studies commenced or completed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good attention to detail
A willingness to take ownership of your work
A genuine interest in continuing to develop technically and professionally
