Role Overview:
We are seeking a committed secondary science teacher. The ability to teach VCE Biology is advantageous but not required.
This is a one-year full-time contract position (from 22 January to 8 December ****), with the possibility of on-going employment.

Role Description




Role model and inspire a passion for science in all students.
Use teaching strategies based on sound knowledge of students' physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning.
Contribute to the academic growth of each student through data informed practice.
Actively engage in the School's Thrive (Teacher Performance Development) Program.
Establish and maintain respectful, team-oriented relationships with parents/carer's regarding their children's learning and wellbeing.
Support a range of learners in developing their science understanding.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
Skill and interest in teaching Science.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus time management skills.
Knowledge and understanding of best practice in education.
