At Deftec, we're offering Underground Electricians the opportunity to develop specialist skills in:

Communications Networks

This role is ideal for electricians with 1-2 years underground coal experience who want to build a long-term technical career while maintaining the lifestyle benefits of a 7/7 roster.
n
No previous instrumentation or automation experience is required. We'll provide the training, mentoring and project exposure.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
Depending on your interests and experience, you may be involved in:
n

Underground communications systems
n
Fibre optic installation and testing
n
Conveyor and infrastructure projects
n
Underground electrical maintenance
n
Technology improvement initiatives
n
No two swings are the same.
n

We're looking for someone who:
n
n
An Underground Electrician with 1-2 years experience
n
Looking to expand your technical capabilities
n
Interested in automation, instrumentation or technology
n
Wanting exposure to projects and advanced systems
n
Looking for a long-term career path rather than another maintenance position

Motivated to learn from experienced technical specialists
