Caloundra GWM is looking for an experienced and capable Automotive Technician to join our growing workshop on the Sunshine Coast.
n
We are specifically looking for an experienced technician who can work confidently and independently within a busy dealership environment. A minimum of 5 years' post-trade experience and a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) are essential.

About the Role
n
Working within our Caloundra GWM Service Department, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and warranty work across a modern and rapidly growing vehicle range.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Carrying out scheduled servicing, repairs and maintenance
n
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
n
Completing warranty repairs and manufacturer campaigns
n
Accurately documenting work performed and diagnostic findings
n
Identifying additional repair and maintenance requirements
n
Following manufacturer and dealership processes
n
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and workshop safety
n
Working collaboratively with our Service Advisers and workshop team
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
To be considered for this position, you will need:
n
n
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
n
Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified Automotive Technician
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
n
Experience working in a dealership environment highly regarded
n
Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
n
Ability to work independently and efficiently
n
High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
n
Strong reliability and work ethic
n
Current Australian driver's licence
n
n
Previous GWM experience is not essential. Manufacturer training and support will be provided.
