, our team is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care to every furry friend that walks through it's doors. We are now looking for the pick of the litter to complement our existing team and help contribute to providing a premium service to local pets and their families.
The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours between 7am-6pm, Monday through Sunday, with the ability to adapt to a variety of shifts and schedules.
Availability to work weekends and across all school holiday periods (including Christmas and Easter) is required.
What you'll be doing:
Caring for boarding and daycare pets – feeding, grooming, enrichment
Frequent cleaning and upkeep of facility to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety
Health checks and general animal husbandry
Supervising dogs and managing their behaviours to maintain overall wellbeing and safety
Providing exercise and enrichment to pets
Providing friendly service to pet owners
Creating and distributing media content for our pet owners through videos and photos
Ensuring accurate record keeping and entering information in our booking systems
Supporting your team to ensure the best outcomes for our furry guests
What we're looking for:
Previous experience working or volunteering with animals is preferred
Availability on weekends and school holiday periods
Physically fit and comfortable working indoors and outdoors with pets of all sizes
Confident communicators with a friendly, professional approach to customer service
Reliable, positive team players who enjoy rapid-paced, hands-on work
Ability to work independently and willing to ask for guidance when needed
Be committed to working safely and following instructions, policies and procedures at all times
Available to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift (operated within The Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines)
Please note:
This is a physically active role that requires the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, kneel, and handle animals (up to 50kg). You must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, and comfortably interact with pets, team members, and customers. A Pre-Employment Medical Disclosure will be required to ensure you can safely perform the inherent requirements of the role.
