The Role
n
Working alongside an experienced maintenance team, you'll provide hands-on support across a large-scale heavy industrial processing facility.
n
Day to day you will be involved in:
n
n
Assisting Fitters, Boilermakers and Plumbers with maintenance activities
n
Using hand tools and power tools to support repair and maintenance works
n
Assisting with equipment repairs, installations and project work
n
Supporting preventative and breakdown maintenance activities
n
Operating a forklift to move materials, components and equipment around site
n
Material handling and general workshop duties
n
Assisting across fixed plant and production equipment
n
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
n
n
Requirements
n
n
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Mechanical TA or Maintenance Assistant
n
Forklift Licence (LF) essential
n
White Card essential
n
Confident using hand tools and power tools
n
Experience within industrial, construction, manufacturing or maintenance environments
