A dermatology-only clinic in Melbourne's north-western suburbs is looking for an experienced vet nurse to join their team in a combined veterinary reception, administration and nursing role. This position would particularly suit someone with strong reception, administration and organisational skills who enjoys keeping a clinic running smoothly behind the scenes.
Administration and reception make up approximately 80% of the role, so previous experience and confidence in these areas are important. The position involves managing calls and bookings, front-of-house responsibilities, inventory management, medication ordering and helping to maintain a well-organised clinic workplace. The veterinary nursing component includes duties such as consult nursing, surgical support, blood collection, sedation preparation, client education and owner training in at-home treatment protocols.
This is a full-time position of approximately ***** hours per week, worked across Monday to Thursday only. There are no Fridays, weekends or after-hours required, offering a four-day working week with a consistent schedule.
