We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Trades Assistant to join our client's manufacturing plant. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid workshop background who enjoys hands‐on work and supporting maintenance and production teams.

The successful candidate will be reliable, mechanically minded and confident using a range of hand and power tools.

About the Role

Assisting qualified tradespeople with maintenance and repair tasks
n
Using a variety of hand and power tools
n
Assisting with maintenance and production tasks as required
n
Working safely and following all workplace procedures
n
Working both independently and as part of a team
n
Maintaining a high level of attention to detail
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
n
Welding knowledge or hands‐on welding experience – mandatory
n
Experience assisting tradespeople or maintenance teams
n
Current Forklift Licence – essential
n
Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
n
Strong work ethic and a proactive approach
n
n
What's on Offer?

$***** per hour casual rate

8:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday
n
6:00am – 2:00pm Friday
n
Opportunity to go permanent
n
Some on-call or weekend work may be required, however this is extremely infrequent
n
