A Junior YouTube Strategist & Producer role focused on researching, developing and producing high-performing YouTube content.
You will help generate ideas, research trends and competitors, improve titles, thumbnails and hooks, analyse video performance, and support videos from concept through to publication.
We're an established educational YouTube channel. You'll work directly with the creator and be part of a small fun team, and you'll work from our creative studio in Fitzroy.
Note: This is
not a filming or video editing
role.
Key responsibilities
Research YouTube trends, competitors and audience interests
Generate and develop strong video ideas
Help improve titles, thumbnails, hooks and video concepts
Review scripts and edits with a focus on storytelling and retention
Analyse YouTube performance and identify what worked and what did not
Brief and coordinate editors,



thumbnail designers and other creatives
Help manage videos from idea through to publication
About you
Strong understanding of YouTube and online content
Valuable creative and research instincts
Interest in YouTube strategy, analytics and audience behaviour
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership
Professional YouTube experience is helpful but not essential. Personal projects, freelance work or a strong demonstrated understanding of YouTube strategy are also relevant.
Experience with YouTube Studio
Basic video editing knowledge
Experience with educational, technology or business content
