Community Engagement Officer | Aged Care & NDIS
Simply Helping South Brisbane is looking for a confident and engaging Community Engagement Officer to represent our in-home aged care and disability services across the community.
This is a casual, field-based role suited to someone who knows the home care sector, enjoys meeting people and can confidently represent a business independently. Training, resources and ongoing guidance will be provided.
You will:
Manage information kiosks at shopping centres and proactively engage with the public
Represent Simply Helping at aged care, disability and community expos
Deliver short information and awareness sessions at retirement villages, residential clubs and community groups
Attend local networking and community events
Occasionally conduct face-to-face outreach to Support Coordinators, Aged Care Case Managers and other referral partners
Confidently explain our services,



answer general enquiries and capture leads for follow-up
Essential Requirements
Previous aged care, home care and/or NDIS industry experience
Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Blue Card / Working with Children Check
Current First Aid and CPR
Australian working rights
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
Confident approaching and starting conversations with current people
Warm, professional and naturally engaging
Knowledgeable about in-home aged care and/or NDIS services
Comfortable speaking to individuals and presenting to groups
Able to represent the business independently
Reliable, proactive and well organised
Flexible with availability for kiosks, expos, presentations and occasional stakeholder visits
Looking for an ongoing casual role with long-term commitment
