We are looking for a pharmacist to join our team in Kyogle, in the beautiful Northern Rivers of NSW.
n
This is a genuinely diverse role combining community pharmacy practice with clinical pharmacy services, including Home Medicines Reviews (HMRs), Residential Medication Management Reviews (RMMRs) and aged care services.
n
It is an opportunity to step beyond the traditional community pharmacy model and build a career that combines hands-on pharmacy with meaningful clinical work.

You won't be spending every day behind the dispensary counter.

Your role will have a strong mix of:
n
n
Community pharmacy practice within a small medical-centre pharmacy
n
Home Medicines Reviews (HMRs)
n
Residential Medication Management Reviews (RMMRs)
n
Clinical pharmacy services in residential aged care
n
Medication reviews and optimisation
n
Working with GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals
n
Supporting patients in their homes and within the local community
n
Rural and community healthcare initiatives
n
Health promotion, preventative care and healthy ageing
n
n
You'll have the opportunity to develop strong clinical relationships with patients and local healthcare providers, while still enjoying the variety and community connection that comes with working in pharmacy.

Depending on your experience and interests, your work may include:
n

Dispensing and clinical services within the community pharmacy
n
Medication counselling and optimisation
n
Conducting HMRs and RMMRs
n




Identifying and resolving medication-related problems
n
Supporting deprescribing and appropriate medication use
n
Medication management in aged care
n
Liaising with GPs, nurses and care teams
n
Supporting patients with medication adherence and health literacy
n
Providing pharmacist-led care in the community
n
Contributing to new and innovative models of rural healthcare
n
n

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a pharmacist who is:

Registered with AHPRA
n
Passionate about patient care
n
Interested in developing their clinical skills
n
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
n
Interested in aged care and medication management
n
Keen to build relationships with patients and local healthcare professionals
n
Open to living and working in a regional community
n
n
Experience in HMRs, RMMRs or aged care is highly regarded but not essential.
n
