The Craigslea State School P&C; Association is looking for an enthusiastic
Tuckshop & OSHC Cook
to join our growing team and help shape the future of food services within our school community.
This is not your typical school tuckshop role.
Our Tuckshop provides meals to hundreds of students each week and is expanding its services to include:
Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) meal preparation
Fresh food production
Staff lunch options
Special event food days
Bulk food preparation and freezer-friendly menu items
Future catering opportunities
Café-style offerings
We're looking for someone who loves food, takes pride in quality and enjoys working as part of a supportive, community-focused team.

About the Role
Working closely with our Tuckshop team, you will help:
Prepare and cook meals for our OSHC service
Coordinate fruit and snack preparation
Assist with menu development and planning




Undertake bulk food preparation and cooking
Assist with food ordering and stock management
Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards
Support special food days and school events
Assist with catering as opportunities arise
Contribute to ongoing improvements and growth initiatives
This is a hands‐on role that will suit someone who enjoys being in the kitchen and seeing the direct impact of their work.

About You
You'll ideally bring:
Experience in food preparation, cooking or hospitality
A passion for quality food and customer service
Strong organisational skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute ideas
Formal chef qualifications are welcomed but not essential.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and excited about helping us build something special.
