Youth Access Team Clinician – headspace Mount Druitt

Location: headspace, Mount Druitt, NSW

Employment Type: Full-time, Max term for 12 Months with possibility of extension.

Salary: HPA Level 1 pay point 3 $***** per hour + Salary package

headspace Mount Druitt is part of Australia's National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention services to young people aged *****. Our multidisciplinary team delivers support across mental health, physical health (including sexual health), alcohol and other drugs, and work and study.

Uniting as the lead agency delivers community-based mental health services across NSW, supporting people through person-centred, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused care.

About the Role
n
We are seeking a Youth Access Team Clinician to join our welcoming and passionate team at headspace Mount Druitt.
n
As a first point of contact for many young people and their families, you will play a pivotal role in building rapport, conducting intake and assessments, and coordinating care to support each young person's recovery journey.
n

n
You are passionate about youth mental health and eager to make a real impact. You thrive in a multidisciplinary team and value evidence-based, recovery-focused care.
n
Essential Criteria
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing
n
Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for AASW membership
n
Clinical experience in a mental health setting (including placements or volunteer work such as Lifeline)
n
Solid assessment and triage skills, with a focus on mental health presentations
n
Experience delivering evidence-based interventions
n
Ability to develop person-centred care plans with a biopsychosocial focus
n
