Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, founded in ****, is a leading Catholic Independent Day and Boarding School located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The School is co-educational ELC-6, and girls only 7-12.

We are now inviting applications for a Boarding Operations Administrator. Be part of the diverse and friendly team of teachers and support staff at our iconic harbourside campus, where you will be engaged to coordinate a diverse range of events, and operational tasks in Boarding.
n
The role:
n
Work during term time only. Monday - Thursday 1:30pm to 7:30pm, and Friday 10:30am - 5:00pm.
n
Manage boarding systems, records, databases, permissions, leave processes, and student movement procedures, ensuring compliance, governance, and safeguarding obligations.
n
First point of contact for operational matters, and coordinate boarding communications, newsletters, notices, forms, and updates.
n
Oversee inventory management and operational resources for the boarding precinct.
n
Work with the Boarding Leadership Team to create engaging experiences that strengthen community connection and belonging.
n
Coordinate logistics for all events including orientation programs, National Boarding Week, formal dinners, graduation, parent functions, and other community activities.
n
Contribute to the boarding environment to ensure they remain safe, welcoming, and fit for purpose.
n
Implement procedures that ensure the compliance with the Australian Boarding Schools Association (ABSA) National Boarding Standards and all relevant legislative requirements.
n
In the spirit of continuous improvement, identify and project manage key initiatives, ensuring that IT solutions are implemented where applicable, and boarding experience is benefitted.
n
Demonstrated experience in a similar role or a senior
administrative/operations
role
n
Proficiency in using productivity tools, office software, and communication platforms.
n

Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to exercise judgement, manage competing priorities and deadlines in a high-volume work environment

The Convent of the Sacred Heart, Rose Bay, was founded in ****. Kincoppal was established at Elizabeth Bay in ****. The two schools were amalgamated in **** to become Kincoppal – Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart.

Our original building was a private home called Claremont which was built in ****. It was first leased in **** and later purchased by the Society of the SacredHeart.

The school's first permanent building was completed in ****. Our Chapel, designed by architect John Horbury Hunt, was completed in ****. Since that time, more buildings have been added to meet the needs of our growing school community.

Our primary school was located in the main school building until ****, when an adjoining property (an Italian villa) was purchased. This was demolished in **** and replaced with the present junior school.

The Senior School was a full boarding school until the ****s when day students were admitted.
