Production Operator – Ice Cream Manufacturing
This is a permanent full-time Monday-to-Friday day shift role within a premium ice cream manufacturing operation in Brisbane. You'll be trained across the production operation—from packing, filling and cleaning through to operating filling machines and continuous ice cream churns. As you develop, you'll have the opportunity to learn more technical processes, including pasteurising. Cleaning and sanitation are a significant part of food manufacturing and a significant part of this role. You'll spend most of the day on your feet, undertake regular manual handling and work in refrigerated and occasionally wet production areas.
Key responsibilities
Pack and finish ice cream products
Operate filling and production equipment
Operate continuous ice cream churning equipment
Prepare and weigh ingredients accurately
Set up equipment and assist with changeovers
Complete production and quality checks
Record production and food-safety information
Dismantle, clean and sanitise equipment
Assist across the production floor wherever needed
