Job Description
The role includes outpatient and inpatient care, surgery, participation in the after-hours on-call roster, teaching and supervision of trainees, and involvement in research, quality improvement and service development activities.

Key responsibilities

Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and management of patients with oculoplastic, orbital and lacrimal conditions.
n
Deliver comprehensive general ophthalmology care across a range of clinical settings.
n
Perform elective and emergency ophthalmic surgical procedures.
n
Participate in the Ophthalmology after-hours and on-call roster.
n

What you need
n
n
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and Recent Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), or equivalent specialist qualifications.
n
Eligibility for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
n
Broad experience in general ophthalmology and demonstrated expertise in oculoplastic, orbital and lacrimal disorders.
