This is a hands‐on technical role primarily supporting X‐ray and Digital Radiography (DR) systems across our growing customer base throughout Victoria and Australia.

Medic Cloud is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team.
n
This is a hands‐on technical role primarily supporting X‐ray and Digital Radiography (DR) systems across our growing customer base throughout Victoria and Australia.
n
You'll be involved in:
n
n
Installation and commissioning of X-ray and diagnostic imaging systems
n
Preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs
n
Electrical, electronic and mechanical fault‐finding
n
Troubleshooting X-ray generators, DR detectors and acquisition systems
n
Diagnosing computer, software and network‐related faults
n
Providing onsite and remote technical support
n
Regional, rural and interstate travel when required
n
n
Modern X-ray systems are heavily computer and network based, so strong IT troubleshooting skills are essential. You should be comfortable fault‐finding across Windows PCs, software, hardware, TCP/IP networks and connected imaging equipment.
n
What We're Looking For
n
Previous experience with X‐ray or diagnostic imaging equipment is strongly preferred.
n
Experience with DRGEM, CPI,



Sedecal, Fujifilm, Stephanix or similar X‐ray systems will be highly regarded.
n
Additional experience with Dental imaging, DXA/Bone Densitometry, Ultrasound, DICOM or PACS would also be advantageous.
n

Robust computer, IT and networking troubleshooting skills

A practical and methodical approach to diagnosing faults
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
A current Australian driver's licence
n
Willingness to undertake regional and interstate travel
n

Radiation Licensing
n
Applicants should ideally hold, or have previously held, a Victorian Radiation Use Licence applicable to diagnostic X-ray equipment.
n
Candidates with an expired licence, or those who have completed a recognised Radiation Safety Certificate or relevant training, are also encouraged to apply. Medic Cloud can assist suitable candidates with the licensing process where required.
