The Opportunity

Our internal Talent Acquisition team is dedicated to finding the best people for the firm and providing top-tier service to our stakeholders.

With 9 Talent Acquisition specialists based across Sydney and Brisbane we manage the end-to-end recruitment of all legal, risk advisory, NewLaw, business support and partner roles on a national basis. We're a close-knit team with a national and international presence, a robust track-record and rapport within the firm, and a keen interest in trivia.

We are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant, preferably with experience recruiting risk and consulting roles, to join our team for a 6-month fixed term contract. The role will manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process for a variety of roles, especially risk consulting roles, across all Australian offices. You will work closely with Partners and other senior stakeholders to ensure we attract and hire the best talent in the market, provide an excellent candidate experience, and champion our brand externally.

This role reports to one of the Talent Acquisition Senior Managers and will work closely with members of the team on a daily basis. While we take responsibility for specific functions/roles we also work closely to support each other when recruitment volumes are high, so curiosity and teamwork are essential. This role could sit in Sydney or Brisbane.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

- Proven end-to-end talent acquisition experience in an internal or agency role, preferably recruiting risk and/or consulting roles, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. Experience recruiting in a consulting firm will be highly regarded.
- Strong people, partnership, relationship management and consulting skills. Proven experience building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, building trust by delivering what you promise, and providing clear and helpful updates, advice and guidance.
- Strong administration and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent roles and candidates, following firm processes/expectations, and ensuring everyone has a positive experience and is consistently kept up to date.
- Curiosity and the genuine desire to understand how the firm operates, what our stakeholders do, the roles we recruit, and our value proposition for candidates.
- Proven experience working autonomously and as part of a close team; managing your own work and communicating clearly with colleagues around processes, issues, availability, and reporting.
- Proven experience utilising a range of strategies/platforms to directly source/headhunt candidates, keeping them engaged for current and future roles.
