About the role

Wintringham’s Ron Conn site is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our team. Bring your passion for well-being to our close-knit community, fostering a warm and supportive setting for our residents. Reporting to the Residential Site manager, responsibilities include:

- Assist residents with personal care, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming and other activities of daily living
- Continence management, bathing and washing residents, grooming and shaving
- Provide social and emotional support to residents (person centred holistic care)
- Resident Social Activities: Assist residents to take part in social activities like recreational activities
- Assist residents to access services they require

What are we looking for?

- First Aid Certificate – CPR
- Food Safety – Level 1 as required
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care)
- Knowledge and understanding of the special needs of older people
- The ability to enhance or maintain our residents’ independence and lifestyle
- A friendly and non-judgmental attitude

What we offer

Employment type: Part Time Role

Pay: $36.92 - $43.88 /hour (depending on your quals & experience) plus super. Above Award pay and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits of up to $18,500 each year.

Location: Ron Conn Residential– Avondale Heights (VIC)

Roster/hours of work: 5 shifts per fortnight

Week 1: Monday & Tuesday (2130 - 0730)

Week 2: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (2130 – 0730)
