Wenona is seeking a passionate and experienced History teacher to join our History Departments. You will inspire our young women through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

The Position

· Inspire students and contribute to a thriving, contemporary academic program.

· Deliver outstanding professional practice, including effective curriculum differentiation.

· Implement inquiry-based pedagogy, authentic assessment, and data-informed teaching.

· Support student wellbeing through strong pastoral care and an understanding of girls’ education.

· Use ICT to enhance learning, engagement, and collaboration.

· Commit to ongoing professional learning and contribute positively to the wider educational community.

We are seeking to fill a temporary full-time position for 2027.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be highly qualified with experience in teaching the History subject and strong working knowledge of NESA curriculum. Experience with Stage Six would be highly regarded. You will be solutions-focused, flexible and have excellent communication skills with an ability to engage and communicate with various stakeholders.



You will be capable of working collaboratively within a team setting and be committed to supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.
