About the role

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and young people across a range of developmental and functional areas, supporting them to build skills, confidence and independence in ways that are meaningful to them. You will have the chance to work across Spring Hill and Banyo Playhouses, collaborating closely with Exercise Physiologists, Podiatrists, educators and other team members.

- Individual occupational therapy sessions

- Small-group programs

- Sensory and motor development

- Emotional regulation and self-regulation

- Executive functioning

- Fine and gross motor development

- School and Prep readiness

- Social participation and confidence

- Functional independence and life skills

- Supporting children to participate more successfully at home, school and in their community

About you

- Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

- AHPRA registration

- Experience working with paediatric clients

- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills

- Experience developing and implementing individualised therapy programs

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- A collaborative approach to working with families and other professionals

- A genuine understanding of neurodiversity and neuroaffirming practice





- The ability to work independently while also contributing to a multidisciplinary team

- A willingness to mentor and support other clinicians
