Parks and Gardens Apprenticeship - 1st Year

A 1st year apprentice position within a small gardening team based in Burwood, servicing Inner South Eastern suburbs. You will be supported by experienced staff and work on a variety of gardening and landscaping tasks.

Key responsibilities

Planting

Mowing

Mulching

Weeding

Hedge trimming

Edging

Turf maintenance

Tree maintenance

About you

Enthusiastic, keen and self-motivated with a passion for gardens

Current driver's license is essential

Previous experience working with various outdoor tools and machinery will be an advantage

An understanding of plants, herbicides and pesticides will be preferred

Red Card and First Aid Certificate is an advantage but not essential

You will be expected to commence a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens immediately
