Our client in Cambridge is looking for a Licensed Millwright to join their team in a permanent full-time position on the day shift!

The Millwright will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in the facility. Types of machines involved will be large CNC Mills and Lathes.

This position is on the day shift from 7:00am-3:30pm with flexibility on start times, to start earlier and leave earlier depending on the work!

Qualifications:

- Minimum Gr. 12 diploma AND Certificate of Qualification/ Licensed as an Industrial Millwright are a MUST.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Millwright
- Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment including CNC and conventional machinery. (Mills and Lathes)
- Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment.




- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform tasks that require a high degree of accuracy
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Highly flexible, with strong interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working setting.
- Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Dedicated to health and safety at work and committed to wearing the required PPE.
- Understanding and experience with 5-S Activities and general workplace organization and cleanliness.
- Experience with a CMMS and ability to complete maintenance reports.
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and tools as required
- Ability to travel and work between several sites when needed.
- Ability to complete and clear extensive background checks.
