Glass / Window Labourer - Casual / Part Time / Full time

Eastern Contract Glazing (ECG) is based in Bayswater. We assist our customers on-site with glass installations.

We are looking to expand our team across casual, part-time, and full-time roles to support our growing pipeline of upcoming projects. We pride ourselves on maintaining a positive, down-to-earth work environment. We are a tight-knit, supportive team that gets along well, works hard, and looks out for each other on-site. About the Role:

You will be working alongside our experienced trade team in office. Duties include:

- Assisting with the handling, lifting, and placement of large glass panels.
- On-site setup, material movement, and site prep.
- Assisting with rubber glazing, sealing, and frame handling.
- General trade support and factory/site labour duties.

What We Are Looking For:

Physical Fitness & Strength:

High manual handling capability is essential.



You must be comfortable with heavy team lifting on a daily basis.

Compliance:

Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card) and full Australian working rights.

Licence & Transport:

Valid, current Australian Driver’s Licence and confident driving trade vehicles between sites.

Tech Capabilities:

Competent using basic workplace apps on a smartphone (e.g., managing timesheets, shifts, or job admin via tools like BrightHR or Xero).

Experience:

Prior experience in glass or window fabrication is a bonus, but a general construction background is equally suited. We want to hear from you if you have worked on-site in carpentry, site labouring, landscaping, or any hands‑on trade where you understand site safety and aren't afraid of hard physical work. Full on-the-job training in glazing techniques will be provided for the right candidate.
